PLEASURECRAFT ENGINE GROUP PURCHASES STATE-OF-THE-ART CNC MACHINE

LITTLE MOUNTAIN, SC (October 5, 2016) – Pleasurecraft Engine Group (PEG) recently purchased a new OKK HM6000S which was on display showcasing the latest innovations in CNC machining at the 2016 International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago, IL from September 12-17, 2016.

This OKK HM6000S makes the fourth machine of its kind, plus two OKK VP400s, to have been purchased in less than 12 years. These machines make up PEG’s state-of-the-art portfolio of equipment used to machine all cast iron and aluminum parts in-house. Additionally, PEG builds all machine fixtures in-house and performs 100% piece part quality inspection, including pressure-testing components.

The OKK HM6000S provides new concepts in high-speed machining offering drastic improvements in speed, rigidity, and durability over competing machines. This horizontal machining center offers the fastest and most powerful machines in their class, while providing easy access, maintenance, and operation.
